Ms Velasquez is an enterprising Director of Consultative Sales who brings over ten years of experience with her to N&ST. Her heightened focus on customer relations spans a variety of industries, from the electric utility to the financial sector. One of her core strengths is her ability to perform a thoroughgoing needs analysis that is done each time on an individual basis, without bias and without prescriptive methods. As such, she is able to unpack even the most complex issues a client may be confronted with, including sensitive potential vulnerabilities and unseen growth potential.

Ms. Velasquez's history is guided by a natural creative inclination, allowing her to grasp extensive systems and procedures in technology-intensive fields, such as the emerging smart grid technology implementation efforts, and to distill such complexity to essential task-sets. With a firm belief that standardized solutions are short lived in their success, she has been consistently praised by her clients for being able to custom tailor solutions to each of their singular needs.

Her range of customer relations expertise is wide, and began in the late 90's as talks of energy deregulation hit the public and as nation-wide studies were being carried out to project future impacts of deregulation. Creative problem solving defined her work at Village Voice Media, C2Media, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals and more recently at information architecture and web development firm, VE Enterprises (DBA Edit.com). At Edit.com Ms. Velasquez led her technical team to assist her niche service industry clients achieve their specific web interface goals. As a client of hers recently said, "[Angela] is MY kind of sales professional: uniquely empathetic to the needs of her customers; a good listener who does not give the impression that she must make a sale at all costs; and an intelligent person who actually listens to her clients needs and goes out of her way to find solutions." That is why the solutions she brings to the table consistently meet or exceed her clients expectations' in facilitating their critical objectives.

Ms. Velasquez received her BFA from The Cooper Union for the Advancement in Science & Art, the only merit-based full tuition scholarship college in the country.
